Meet the BROD

Back from vacations, I am welcomed by the charming Brussels full of bouncing cobbles. The best way to deal with those type of cobbles is by not resisting them but following their movements like dance moves or horse riding movements. Other than that, this city in which I live for five years now shows me every day that the will to be more and more wheelchair friendly is there. Speaking about being wheelchair accessible, yesterday, I found a lovely place called BROD. Let me tell you about it.

BROD is a bakery where everybody is friendly and professional. Believe me, I could have walked on their nerves as I took some time to decide what I would take. Well, for my defense, their menu is pretty diverse. You find pastries but also sandwiches, homemade pasta, salads and so on… The place is located right in front of the beautiful Saints-Michel-et-Gudule Cathedral, so in a touristic area but fortunately, the price and the taste of the food is really not. The chosen products are tasty. Ah… now I can feel your interest.

This bakery offers the possibility to eat inside or outside and also to take away. Everything can be taken away except the waffles served in a local way, with cream, chocolate… yummy!

Oh! One more thing, they are trying to be eco-friendly too, which is great.
